Nouc Cham (Vietnamese salad dressing) is as much a dipping sauce as a salad dressing. *Disclaimer: This recipe is a member recipe. It has not been tested by the taste.com.au team.













Ingredients




  • 1 tablespoon palm sugar

  • 2 teaspoons rice vinegar

  • 2 cloves garlic, freshly chopped

  • 1-2 chillies, seeds removed, finely sliced (optional)

  • 100ml fish sauce

  • 100ml water

  • 100ml fresh lime juice












Method





  • Step 1


    Mix all of the ingredients together and stir until the sugar has dissolved. Keep covered in a refrigerator for up to 3-4 days.
